Greater Atlanta Schutzhund Association (GASA), founded in 1976, is one of the oldest Schutzhund clubs in the United States. GASA is affiliated with the United Schutzhund Clubs of America (USCA). We welcome all working breeds and handlers of any skill level from accomplished Schutzhund competitors to novices. Training is under the director of Fabian Walker. Over the years, our members have titled many dogs and have shown at the club, regional and national levels. Presently, GASA has several members who have handler owned and trained (HOT) their dogs to SchH 3 titles.

I have just purchased a puppy from North Georgia K9. I would like to train her the “right” way. Please send me information re: Meetings, training, etc. I am picking her up on Saturday, Dec. 11. I have had contact with GSD before years ago and have always loved their loyalty and affection. I have since had many dogs, a Doberman and several lab mixes. I currently have a 14 year old lab mix, who I will have to have put down very soon. He has very bad hips and is going blind (this is going to hurt!). I also have a 4 yo lab mix spayed female who will also be devastated when the older dog is no longer with us. Since I live alone and my house was robbed a couple of years ago, I decided to get another GS. She will be 8 weeks old when I pick her up.
